2001 Chardonnay (Organic)
Winemaker's comments
With
hints of emerald green, this elegant Chardonnay tantalises the
senses with a delicate, aromatic blend of melon, peach and oak.
The flavour is more forward with an excellent full palate of
refreshing lime, vanilla and peach. This is an impressive white
wine made with a sensitive hand producing lovely clean fresh fruit
flavours.
This
is a lighter than typical Australian chardonnay - the 'wood' is
subtle and the strong citrus fruit gives it a light, clean finish
that should appeal to palates that are jaded with 'buttery'
chardonnay.
Serve
only slightly chilled to allow the delicate characters to express
themselves fully.
