To proceed with an online order, agreement is necessary. Please
register your agreement in the box at the top of this page - actual
registration occurs when you follow one of the links at the bottom
of this page.
AGE
We will only supply to people over 18 years of age. By accepting
these terms and conditions you are confirming that you are over 18
years old.
PRICE
All wines are quoted per case of 12 75cl bottles (unless
otherwise stated). Prices include UK duty and VAT. Delivery,
applicable at the time of payment, is added separately.
PAYMENT
All goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. Payment may be made
using our secure server by Visa/MasterCard/Maestro, or by cheque. We
are unable to accept Electron or American Express cards. We reserve the right to make
alternative arrangements for payment of larger orders, e.g. bankers
draft or electronic bank transfer.
We are happy to accept credit card details over the telephone or
fax on (0208) 715 6190.
DELIVERY
Delivery charges are calculated automatically, dependent on your
location and quantity ordered.
Goods to mainland UK (excluding Scottish highlands and
islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland)
will be delivered within three to five working days (Monday-Friday
excluding Bank Holidays) providing we have received the order by
noon.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Scottish highlands and
islands, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight will take longer.
Our standard delivery charges apply. (If you require earlier
delivery for these regions, please enquire about the cost. When we
have agreed terms, the additional charge will be added.)
All DELIVERY COSTS will be clearly marked on the invoice.
Dispatch will occur only on payment of all charges.
Deliveries will be made during office hours during the week. We
do not deliver or dispatch on Bank Holidays, Saturdays or Sundays.
All deliveries must be signed for on receipt and we recommend
that they be delivered to business addresses that are open between
0900 and 1700, Monday to Friday. If delivery is required to a
private address, please supply an alternative address or contact
details so that we can discuss arrangements in the event that we are
unable to complete the delivery.
RETURNS
We will provide a full refund for any wines that are deemed to be
out of condition. We may require these wines to be returned to us
and will ensure that all costs are credited.
CONFIRMATION
When an order is placed, a confirmation copy of the order form
will be emailed back to you shortly afterwards. This serves as a FULL
VAT INVOICE for the wines and delivery. No financial details
will be included with the wines when they are delivered, whether
they are delivered to the customer or another address.
VINTAGES AND AVAILABILITY
We will always try to ensure that wines are of the vintages
quoted on our list. However, if one vintage becomes exhausted, the
next available vintage (assuming at least similar quality) will
immediately replace it. If this policy is unacceptable, please let
us know and we will make alternative arrangements to suit you.
If a particular product that is ordered is out of stock, you will
be advised as to when the goods are likely to be dispatched. An
alternative product may be offered and we will confirm the details
before dispatching.
SECURITY & PRIVACY
All personal details will be kept strictly private and
confidential and will not be shared with any other party. We use
the finest encryption systems available to ensure that your credit
card details are sent in the most secure format. After we have
carried out the financial transaction, we do not store credit card
details on a computer, even in encrypted form. We take great care to
ensure that our own systems are protected by up-to-date firewalls
and anti-virus programs.
