Winemaker’s comments
This well balanced wine showing elegance and complexity has the
potential to reward those whom can cellar it for 5 to 8 years. It is
dark, deep red in colour and bright. Complex cassis aromas
complemented by toasty cedar and vanilla oak with a touch of spice.
The palate shows rich red berry flavours complemented by spicy cedar
and vanilla oak. The excellent structure is beautifully balanced by
form, fine tannins right through the palate. The finish is long and
satisfying.
