COLOUR
Bright to brilliant, golden  yellow with hints of green of medium intensity.

AROMA
Tropical fruit, melon and citrus followed by hints of toasty vanilla oak.

PALATE
Abundant fresh melon and tropical fruit flavours lead onto a rich creamy middle palate complemented by well integrated toasty vanilla oak. This well structured wine finishes long with crisp acid freshness.
 
The 2002 Shantell Chardonnay is lovely drinking now while having all the elements to age beautifully for the next three to five years.
