2000 Chardonnay
Winemaker’s comments
The 2000 Chardonnay is lovely drinking now while having all the
elements to age beautifully for the next 3 to 5 years. The colour is
brilliant straw yellow with hints of green of medium intensity. This
wine shows the distinctive chardonnay characteristics of nectarine
melon and citrus, followed by hints of spicy vanilla oak. Abundant
fresh nectarine melon and tropical fruit flavours lead onto a rich
creamy middle palate complemented by well integrated spicy vanilla
oak. This well structured wine finishes long with crisp acid
freshness.

Scallops, Rocket and Saffron Risotto.
