S Kidman Wines

S Kidman wines are situated at the northern end of Coonawarra in South Australia. The original vineyards were planted amidst majestic red gums nearly 30 years ago. Further plantings have continued the practice of hand pruning and low yield crops, in order to achieve exceptional fruit quality.

The old stables, shearers quarters and woolshed, all dating from the 1850s, are still used in the various facets of wine production and farming life.

Four grape varieties are grown by Susie and Sid Kidman: Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The wines made for these grapes show excellent varietal and regional characteristics.
