2003 Reserve Chardonnay

Winemaker’s comments

The fruit for this wine was selected from some of the older estate vines in order to maximise the concentration and flavour of the wine. The 2003 summer was very warm and dry in Gippsland and the vintage started early of the 27th March.

The wine is rich, showing a green-gold colour, with ripe peaches, spicy oakiness and tropical fruits coming through in a long, lingering finish. 

The Reserve has been consistently ranked amongst Australia's premier Chardonnay's by James Halliday, one of the most respected wine critics in Australia.
