2001 Chardonnay
Winemaker’s comments
The warm dry season produced grapes of exceptional quality, which
were picked on the 7th April and bottled on 17th
December 2001. The wine is very appealing with a beautiful
green-gold colour and intense nose and palate. It is creamy with a
long finish and clean acidity. The bouquet is of melons with cashews
and tobacco and the flavour is ripe peaches and figs with citrus and
almonds.
