Murdoch Hill
The Murdoch Hill vineyard is found on the property known as
"Erinka". It is 4 kms east of Oakbank in the Adelaide
hills, on undulating gum studded countryside.
Within the hills there are many different microclimates. The
Murdoch Hill vineyard is located where it is more open and warmer
and it has been found that both red and white wines do exceptionally
well.
The Adelaide Hills has a strong domestic and international
reputation as it is home to some of Australia’s best cool climate
wines displaying a great finesse and varietal intensity. It was
featured in the May 2005 edition of 'Decanter' magazine.
Murdoch Hill has a commitment to excellence and best practice in
all areas of viticulture and with an enthusiastic team of people
keen to see the vineyard and the wine flourish, there is every
reason to be enthusiastic about the wines from this vineyard.
