| The great wine growing regions
of France, especially Bordeaux, have been producing blended wines for
centuries, using a mix of grapes to compliment each other and bring a
depth and complexity to the wine.
This style has not been reflected in Australia's output - the preference for a single varietal has been very strong. However, some wines, are made using blends of grape varieties.
